1. Shave the hair on treatment area to 1-2mm long.
2. Clean and disinfect the skin on treatment area. (Apply anaesthetic cream before disinfection if needed. And apply anaesthetic cream to avoid scald when you can use the machine skillfully.)
3. Apply 2mm thick cooling gel to treatment area.
4. The patient shall wear eyeshade and the operator shall wear laser protective glasses during treatment.
5. Adjust parameters and start treatment. Adjust parameters according to the ones recommended by system during treatment by obeying the following rules: The most suitable Energy level is reached when the patient feels slight stinging pain. Please continue to adjust parameters if the patient cannot feel painful or the patients feels too painful.
You can stop treatment when:
Patients with thick hair may feel stinging during treatment. Redness and swelling may appear on follicles after treatment. Remove the thick hair by forceps slightly.
Patients with thin hair may also feel stinging during treatment. Mild redness can appear on follicles after treatment.
6. Patients with dark/black skin shall apply ice compress for 30 minutes after treatment. Disinfect the treatment area again after cleaning skin and apply anti-inflammatory ointments. Avoid water for 24 hours and avoid sunlight for one week after treatment.
7. Clean and disinfect the treatment handle.
NOTE: For treatment on private parts (Such as Bikini), cover the treatment head with plastic wrap to effectively avoid virus transmission to prevent cross infection. Remove the plastic wrap immediately after treatment.
8. Keep treated area clean. Disinfect treated area everyday to prevent folliculitis.
